EP01: Relationship Fitness - The Big Why










Welcome to the first episode of the Relationship Fitness Podcast!!!

So, recently someone asked me WHY I would put together a podcast about relationships and what gives me the right, the authority to give people relationship advice...?


I thought for a few moments and while looking at this person, I understood two things...


One thing I realized what why he was asking. The reason was because he's known me for a long time and new about my failed relationships in the past and the second think I knew was...


I knew this would not be the last time I would get asked this question.


I knew it was just a matter of time once I started putting the episodes out into the world. Even though I knew this question was coming...


I was not really prepared with an intelligent answer. I started to panic, searching frantically in my brain for MY BIG WHY.


It seemed like it was taking me forever to answer his question...Then it hit me. Though the first words out of my mouth were really not that impressive, they came from the heart in a big way.


I said...BECAUSE I WANT TO DO IT!


I know...impressive, right? lol not so much...


I followed up with telling him that, really, the only reason I need, is because I want to, and...because I am passionate about discovering ways to develop great relationship skills to not only help me to create a deeper love connection with someone, but also to share what I find with the world.


It is my belief that we all desire and deserve to have a loving, fulfilling and long lasting relationship. The Relationship Fitness Podcast is dedicated to just that.


Just like physical fitness takes eating right and doing the right exercises consistently...


Creating strong relationship fitness is done by developing great relationship habits and doing those habits consistently. This leads to a strong, unbreakable love connection with your soulmate that can weather any storm or challenge that life brings your way.


The Relationship Fitness Podcast is dedicated to sharing interviews, tips, skill sets, stories, resources and actionable advice to help you strengthen your connection to your soulmate and take your relationship to next level.


There is a lot more to the story in the podcast episode, but it is that question that inspired me to record this episode and let everyone else know my big why.
